The Fab Four Conquer Atlanta

Beatlemania was on full display Sunday night as The Fab Four brought their “A-game” to Atlanta Symphony Hall.

Almost 55 years ago to the day that The Beatles appeared for the first time on TV screens across America, Ed Sullivan (played by George Trullinger) opened the night’s performance with those almost iconic words, “Ladies and Gentlemen… The Fab Four”.

For the next two hours people laughed, smiled, sang and danced to hit after hit by the boys from Liverpool, faithfully re-created by the talented foursome on stage.  It was so easy to suspend disbelief as each band member had his character down pat – accents and mannerisms included.

Three separate costume changes gave the energetic crowd a birds-eye view of the Beatles from their first Sullivan show appearance through Sgt. Pepper’s psychedelic, multicolored satin uniforms, ending with outfits straight out of the White Album period.  These master musicians captivated the audience, transporting them all to a time and place called the 60’s.

If you get a chance to see The Fab Four don’t pass it by.  A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
